ARTICLE 1: WHEN SHOULD ONE START SEARCHING FOR INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES?

Often than note, this is a question that lingers in our minds as students who are about to exit from college/university or those who have already exited. So, when should one start searching for internship opportunities?

In my experience the best time to search for an internship opportunities is immediately you join a college or university. Many will ask, is this not too early? You have to consider many factors to qualify this fact.
  1. Searching for an internship/volunteerism opportunities takes a while before you can actually find an opportunity, thus the early you start the better.
  2. In some courses you need to atleast specialize hence, immediately you specialize and you sure on the profession then you should start to hunt for an internship.
  3. In your last year of course work or when you are required by your college or university.

Therefore, the early you start the better.
