Role overview
Support to strengthen national volunteering management systems, volunteer programme development and management, and to develop a robust monitoring and evaluation system and tools for NIC operating at national and decentralised levels. The M& E tools are required to establish a database for recording and tracking the value and contribution of national volunteering in Rwanda.
Skills, qualifications and experience requiredThe candidate must:
  • Possess a university degree in social sciences. Must have an experience of at least 5 years in Project management with a rich background in national volunteering and monitoring and evaluation systems.
The applicant must be available immediately - October 2014.
As a result of a two years funded project from VSO head office, VSOR and NIC have developed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen and promote national volunteerism in Rwanda with special focus on youth.
