The aim of this role is to strengthen current monitoring and evaluation practices and support a partner organisation to develop integrated monitoring and evaluation systems. You'll build the capacity of personnel collecting, collating, analyzing, synthesizing and disseminating data. and introduce effective data collection approaches. You'll support the development of guidelines and tools on monitoring and evaluation and deliver training workshops. The emphasis of your position will depend on the key objectives of the local partner.
Skills, qualifications and experience required
To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 3 years Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) experience. You have experience developing monitoring and evaluation training materials and delivering training. Proven experience and skills in EMIS practice including data collection and analysis, and used in effective management of information systems, planning and decision making. VSO will assess all candidates against the following competencies, which make up VSO's volunteer competency framework. You're open minded and respectful. You're resilient and adapt well to new situations. You're able to facilitate positive change and build sustainable working relationships. But most of all, as this is the vision of VSO, you're competent to seek and share knowledge.
