CAREER PATH
Is
Form Four the best time for a student to choose their life-long career? If so,
are there proper systems that give them a peek into what a particular career
entails?
These are some of the issues that final-year students in Kenyan high schools
face, as confirmed recently during a career day at Loreto High School in Limuru.
The
education system requires that before the final examinations (KCSE) in October,
students select the universities they want to join and the courses they wish to
pursue.
The
disciplines offered in universities are massive, and as long as a student
attains the required grade, they are admitted to these institutions.
